Luckily, we keep getting the exemptions, like noting that Europeans actually ARE into soccer. Well, we call it football. Also there should be an exemption about the sportswear. Europeans dress up after work, if they are going somewhere, Americans dress down. This means you are likely to meet a European person on the way to work in his fleece jacket, only to meet him out on town in an elegant coat and some snappy shoes after work. There should be warning for American men dating European women: do not get into your casual wear if you have invited her out to dinner! She ll come dressed to kill and if you re not dressed for it, she ll just leave your carcass in the gutter.

If you're willing to get up very early and dress quite warm, this is worth it. I really enjoyed the sunrise view and the park rangers were excellent. The roads are fairly frightening (for people like me at least!) and the altitude might make you lightheaded after a while. Overall an enjoyable experience though!

Thank you for sharing the great information! I will definitely be visiting this lens from time to time for sewing patterns!

Yup, I am with Chris. Our HOA specifically bans hanging laundry, even in the backyard where it can t be seen! Besides, I also don t like the stiffness of line-dried clothing, and it would be my luck that I would forget it outside and some animal would do something horrible to it. sexy girls

In the great city where he lived, life was always gay. Everyday many strangers came to town, and among them one day came twoswindlers. They let it be known they were weavers, and they saidthey could weave the most magnificent fabrics imaginable. Notonly were their colors and patterns uncommonly fine, but clothesmade of this cloth had a wonderful way of becoming invisible toanyone who was unfit for his office, or who was unusuallystupid.

I love the soft feel of clothes that come out of the dryer. I also love the fresh smell of line dried clothes. What I do is hang the clothes to dry, then pop them in the dryer for about 10 minutes with a damp wash cloth/towel to soften them. This saves electricity also since I have an electric dryer.

This is very true. However being a person from the mountains in the west and now living in the city on the east. I don t feel as foolish wearing my ski jacket and hat when people are using umbrellas to cover themselves from the snow that never even sticks to the ground. You can spot the posers, but then again maybe I look foolish to them. But I still don t have to carry an umbrealla around wherever I go. FACE!

Our dress story started in 1962 in Stamford, CT. For the last 50 years we have spent an enormous amount of time studying women’s fashion, the dress and what makes every women look and feel beautiful. Today at dressbarn we handpick our dresses from the best designers like, Carmen Marc Valvo and Heidi Weisel, ensuring quality down to every stitch. And I always feel like the outdoor clothing is an indication that well, we just might have climbed down from the closest snowcapped peak to grab this java at Starbucks. Appearing to be in a state of constant and serious exploration of the outdoors seems to be key.

I had NO idea about the North Face thing now that I read it yes LOADS of people wear them (not me) never struck me as good stuff. That being said I m from Seattle and live in Alaska. I do tend to live in jeans and or athletic wear BECAUSE IT IS SO COMFORTABLE! I have an office job where I do not interact with customers so I can look like a hobo if I choose to hair brushing is totally optional I often wear an Arc terycs jacket but my obsession with great outdoor gear is unsatiated seeking the perfect balance of wind and water repellency and ability to vent swet I snapped up a Norrona jacket with the largest pit zips I have ever seen. Scored it off Backcountry s outlet. I am a white person who does regularly escape into the woods with my Karilian bear dog after work and would rather live this way than any other way. Yes I have to keep watch for bears and moose but I saw a huge Great Horned Owl last week and it was spectacular to watch do its territorial call and be completely in charge of its domain. No matter what your skin tone rock your gear but earn it by putting it to good use!

The impressively muscular Otto Olympier, his picture taken by an uncredited photographer and published as a postcard. Not intended to be sent home from a holiday as we mostly use them today, but for those who collected the cards as a hobby; images of strongmen and bodybuilders seem to have been a popular subject, judging by the amount which have survived to this day.

A final image in my unintended theme of vintage strongmen tonight, photographed by Emile Bayard in 1902. This picture is especially noteworthy not just for the outlandish shape in which it has been mounted, but also the strange arrangement to preserve his modesty - a stylised fig leaf, perhaps, but the attachment leaves room for the mind to ponder : how is he holding it there? Somehow the possibility of clenched buttocks gripping the wire support brings an unintentional amusement to the scene!
